The State Things: “Writ in Water” ten years later

 

It’s been ten years since I started posting on this blog, firstly analysing not just movies or music records, but also graphic novels and novels, as well as concerts that I attended. Also, the blog started out to be written in Portuguese, but in 2020 I decided to write exclusively in English, and focus solely on analysing and reviewing music records and movies. This was a shift in content I decided to follow, especially since I also published music reviews in Portuguese in Metal Imperium, so I needed an outlet for my English writing.

Now, as I still have my reviews being published in Metal Imperium in Portuguese, I decided to once again, change the scope of the content I will post in Writ in Water, going forward.

As such, I will continue to post movie and music reviews in this blog, but now I will start posting analysis of other types of cultural media, like books, graphic novels, and also, video-games and TV series. Also, I will resume posting in Portuguese, as I have some content that I wish to write in my mother tongue, on occasion.

Since the year has been one of reflection, I decided to make these changes to the content of my blog, but, all in all, I hope you keep reading and enjoying it!
